Georgia

According to the Constitution for the State of Georgia Article VIII. Section VII. Paragraph IV.   Waiver of tuition .


“The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia shall be authorized to establish programs allowing attendance at units of the University System of Georgia without payment of tuition or other fees, but the General Assembly may provide by law for the establishment of any such program for the benefit of elderly citizens of the state . “

  5. For the University of Georgia the FAQ on Fees and Tuition only listed the waiver of fees for seniors. I had a hard time getting to a person who was knowledgeable (they all seemed to be looking at the FAQ). Finally I found the right person, who will try to get the FAQ fixed. The webpage that gives more detailed information is under Policies, http://www.reg.uga.edu/registration/person_62_or_older. You have to go through the regular enrollment application process and be admitted in order to qualify.
